Myrtle Beach Eats

So Small Bites Radio made a visit down to Myrtle Beach, SC for some fun in the sun and eats around town. Below are some of the places we ate at and recommend for you to try if you are in the area.

Thrashers – Atlantic City Airport – Atlantic City, NJ

Airport food is usually bland and predictable, but I must admit a bacon, egg, and cheese on bagel here was made fresh and good start.

Joe’s Diner by the Airport – Myrtle Beach, SC

Hey, we’re from the Philly/South Jersey area so you say diner and we’re in. This patty melt was good.

Ducatis Pizzeria & Trattoria – Myrtle Beach, SC

From start to finish the meal was tasty

Empire Fire Mongolian Grill – Myrtle Beach, SC

A very affordable meal, with a nice variety, and decent service. It was sort of a buffet, but done differently. Still good for the price though.

Conch Cafe – Murrells Inlet, SC

This place was AMAZING! The view is fantastic, the food was fresh, and delicious. I highly recommend a visit here.

Toffino’s Italian Bakery & Deli – Myrtle Beach, SC

Did someone say scrapple? You must know we’re from Philly. Oh, and it was eaten quickly!!!

Scully’s New Orleans Style Sno-Balls – Murrells Inlet, SC

I’m used to Philly Water Ice, but if this is what they serve in New Orleans, I’ll take this as well. Nice treat on a hot day. I had the blue raspberry. WARNING – it turned my teeth and tongue blue for the rest of the day.

Miyabi Japanese Restaurant – Myrtle Beach, SC

Had a really enjoyable meal here. Nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient service, and yummy food.

Meyer’s Ice Cream Palor – Surfside Beach, SC

Had a Hershey’s banana pudding ice cream flavor milkshake and boy was it good. Then when you’re done, the place has an arcade inside. How could you possibly not love this place?

The Original Little Pigs Hickory Smoked Bar-B-Q and Catering – 3901 Dick Pond Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC

Now this was great BBQ! Beware though, their are a few Little Pigs BBQ around, this is the original and it is delicious and worth a visit for sure.

Scatori’s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant – Myrtle Beach, SC

Better than average food and nice ambiance. The garlic knots were really good, but ate them all before I thought of taking a picture.

There you have it. A nice food itinerary during any visit to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. ENJOY!
