After a week off, this Sunday, June 4th 635pm Small Bites with Glenn Gross and Derek Timm of Bluejeanfood.com] on Wildfire Radio returns and we are going international. First we are joined by Simran Kochar who is the host of Dine With Colors, a culinary travel show around USA, that airs on Aapka Colors launched by Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd. Viacom18. – a joint venture of Viacom Inc. and the Network18 group, catering to the multicultural audience in North America. Simran Kochar is extremely accomplished and versatile. She started her career at Wizcraft International in India and while completing her first year of Law, starred in a few music videos and national ad campaigns. She also hosted the pilot episode of ESPN’S Superselector in India as an adventure sports correspondent. After completing her MBA from Fordham University, New York, she held a corporate career spanning television and radio, with a concentration on developing start-up ventures. While setting up ImaginAsian Radio that showcased over 300 Asian American bands, she handled marketing across TV, film and radio as Marketing Director at ImaginAsian Entertainment, New York where she also guest hosted, scripted and produced several Asian American TV and radio shows like Total Timepass on Dish Network and 96.1 KSQQFM and Pulse-the Desi Beat during the course of which, she interviewed several prominent celebrities and politicians. Later,she joined radiowalla.in Network Pvt. Limited(a B2B music services company) as GM,North America and set up the initial business model, managing its infrastructural core development between India and America. Currently, she resides in New York and spends her time as a brand consultant and hosting Dine With Colors, which is now in its second season.
A friend from our Northern neighbor Canada will be joining us. We are honored to welcome Julie Stewart-Binks to “Small Bites”. Julie Stewart-Binks is a talented and versatile sideline reporter, update anchor and studio host currently doing double duty at both ESPN & FOX Sports and is emerging as one of soccer’s best sideline reporters, but who also can speak to pretty much anything sports-related. Julie Stewart-Binks is the most knowledgeable friend a sports fan can have while becoming a household name worldwide. Julie will be in Philadelphia to cover the Major League Soccer (MLS) Philadelphia Union vs New York Red Bulls game on Sunday, June 18th and will discuss this year’s season and what Philadelphia sports fans can expect in other professional sports this 2017 season with sharp and fascinating analysis. The Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia 76ers can use any help they can get so I hope they listen in to our show!
Then we have an award winning international comedian Vicky Kuperman and co-author Isabella Patrick to chat about their new funny book How to Spy on Your Neighbor about how Russia is secretly taking over the United States. Also Vicky was winner of the United Solo Festival “Best Comic” award recently. Vicky is very funny and you certainly want to hear her latest thoughts.
