When in the area of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Canada be sure to also stop by Bird Kingdom during your Niagara Falls Tourism. We will talk to Hayley Humphries a Senior Animal Care Supervisor at Bird Kingdom Niagara Falls. At Bird Kingdom be amazed as you enter the World’s Largest Indoor Aviary, where exotic colourful birds fly freely in the multi-level rainforest. Wander on the pathway that begins at the aviary’s top level, taking you behind the magnificent waterfall and down to the jungle floor. Lorikeet Landing provides an unforgettable experience where you can feed and interact with playful lorikeet birds. Within the jungle lies a rare Javanese House from the 1800s, the only of its kind in all of North America. This architectural masterpiece is entirely hand carved solid teak and was incredibly constructed without nails.
All this has me thirsty and hungry. We will also be joined in studio with Chris Dougherty Director of Sales at Downeast Cider House for the Mid Atlantic region. Downeast Cider House was founded by Ross Brockman and Tyler Mosher during their senior year of college. after a considerable amount of time spent on the family orchard, an affinity for farm-fresh apple products was born. meanwhile, at school, the guys could always be found studying. whether it was deep into a weekend night, weds/thur specials at the local library, or perhaps a casual “sunday fun-day study-day,” the fellas were relentlessly toiling away, focused primarily on the classic works of professor busch and his famous theories on the smooth-cold continuum, copper-top revision. Where others have used juice from concentrate, “natural flavorings,” “essences,” artificial sweeteners, and an endless list of excuses, downeast cider house has a firmly established policy of NO SHORTCUTS. no matter the cost to them, they are fully committed to using only fresh-pressed juices and pure, natural ingredients in our cider. when it comes to flavor, there’s no substitute for the best, and that’s what they stand by: simple, honest, authentic. Not to be overlooked, Tom Bera of Philly Blind Pig BBQ will be in studio as well and who knows what delicious food he will be bringing us to try this time.
Then to have us want to get away again, we have Vanessa Rivers of Surf with Vanessa and Glitter&Mud Travel and Rebecca van Dijk of Becky van Dijk Travel the founders of We Are Travel Girls. We Are Travel Girls as the go to site for travel tips, travel quotes and female travel inspiration for any travel articles that you may be working on!
