She has appeared on Today Show, has been featured in Good Housekeeping and People. Brittany Williams has taken the weight loss world by storm with her best-selling Instant Loss Cookbook. Tim will talk about Glu Hospitality Group’s upcoming Leda & The Swan a hideaway for couples, close friends, and the adventurous lone wolf where there will be artistic entertainment and menu offerings to guide guests through an ever-evolving story as well chat about AÑEJO coming soon at The Piazza in NoLibs Northern Liberties Neighbors Association – NLNA area.

We also have on former international model and now Pastry Chef Clarice Lam who has worked in and led kitchens at The chocolate room, Bouchon Bakery, and Spice Market before launching her own online oven-to-door bakery, The Baking Bean. She will share how she has become so successful in multiple industries, but also will share that her path to success had its obstacles.

Looking for something to eat, well as the saying goes we have an APP for that. As on the show will be Steve Mangano who designed CurEat to be an app where only positive recommendations of independent restaurants could be shared, which is one of the reasons why it has been a hit with so many restaurant owners and chefs. He specifically designed the app’s features in such a way as to minimize the toxicity that permeates so many reviews, and to be truer to the way people recommend restaurants to their friends in real life. In fact, many of the top users of the app are independent restaurant owners.

Last, but certainly not least, HE’S BACK! We get an update from Glenn Gross of Fat Jack’s BBQ to talk about what he has been up to and the recent Grand Opening of his restaurant in Williamstown, New Jersey on the Black Horse Pike next to RUSH Fitness and ALL PRO Baseball and Softball Academy.

Buk Chon Korean Cuisine – Old City – Philadelphia, PA

Buk Chon Korean Cuisine – Old City – Philadelphia, PA

With the large amount of choices in the Old City area you could probably eat somewhere different every day of the month and not duplicate any destination. Let me tell you that if you are not looking to experiment and want a good choice no matter the day, I highly recommend Buk Chon Korean Cuisine. From start to finish I had a fabulous and delicious meal with spectacular service in a nice family friendly atmosphere. The meal consisted of Korean Grape Punch, banchan, Korean boneless fried chicken covered with honey-soy sauce, seafood Jap-Chae, seafood pan seared crispy green onion pancake, spicy pork bowl, and galbi bourguignon. It was a great time and will return for sure.

Oath Pizza – Fashion District – Philadelphia, PA

Oath Pizza – Fashion District – Philadelphia, PA

The former mall The Gallery has been transformed into The Fashion District. They have a few food options to choose from and Oath Pizza is one of them. I gave them a try and had their Porky Fig Pizza – Mozzarella, Creme de Brie, Applegate Smoked Bacon, Black Mission Figs, Balsamic Drizzle, and fresh Basil. The service was quick and friendly, pizza was decent enough, and price was reasonable. I’ll be interested to see how The Fashion District finally pans out in the long term and if more dining and shopping destinations open up.

Topgolf – Mount Laurel, NJ

Topgolf – Mount Laurel, NJ

This place is high tech golfing excitement in a fun and luxurious setting with food. Golf of course is the main attraction and the best part of Topgolf. What about the food? Is it a hole in one? It was decent and respectable for an entertainment destination. I had the Grilled Backyard Wings and Brisket Grilled Cheese. Bring some friends and have a good time here.

Pho Voorhees – Voorhees, NJ

Pho Voorhees – Voorhees, NJ

What a nice treat this restaurant was. The décor is stylish and modern, and service was really friendly. All of the food ordered was delicious and priced very reasonably. I had the steamed dumplings, grilled pork chops with white rice, and the house special Padkee Mao Xa Xiu with shrimp, fishball, squid, chichen, and pork. For a decent priced Vietnamese restaurant that is a good choice if going to dinner and movie in the same shopping mall, I would go back.

Kensington Quarters – Philadelphia, PA

Kensington Quarters – Philadelphia, PA

The Fishtown area is one of the hippest in Philly and for good reason. Kensington Quarters is one of the places that has seen the growth of the area. They are a hip destination with cool décor and vibe. The service was top notch and meal was pretty good also. I had the KQ burger on a brioche bun that has cheddar, garlic aioli, jus, and caramelized onions with a fried potato.
