Inside New Hope Ferry Market is Lima Fusion. The market is really cool and has a nice variety of vendors. Service was quick here and they have a decent amount of flavors of empanadas to choose from. Had the Chorizo & Cheese, Ham and Cheese, and Picadillo. Good for a snack or quick pick me up.

C’est La Vie French Bakery & Cafe – New Hope, PA

Let me start this off by saying I have never been a fan of quiche. I could eat it, but not something I would ever seek out and I’ve had it many times. C’est La Vie French Bakery & Cafe has now made me put them on my radar and seek them out for their delicious and amazing quiches. These things were magical. Every bite was fantastic. Had their ham and spinach quiche. Both are great! Highly recommend a visit here for everyone even if you think you don’t like quiche.

DiNapoli’s Italian Market and Restaurant – New Hope, PA

This place was great. The employees were top notch and made you feel so welcome as soon as you entered. The food was good as well. Had Classic Antipasto which was huge with Prosciutto, DiLusso Genoa salami, soppressata, sharp provolone, mixed olives, roasted peppers and marinated artichoke hearts with olive oil and balsamic vinegar over romaine hearts and the The Danny D their homemade Italian chicken cutlet, mozzarella, prosciutto, roasted peppers and balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.

Looking for a sweet treat while strolling around Haddonfield? Gelato Dolceria from Chef John Caiola and Miguel Paletta just may be your answer. They have been named Best Gelato in the State of New Jersey by Food and Wine and Travel and Leisure Magazine. I had their Madagascar vanilla gelato and it was pretty good. I would try another flavor next time as they had a good variety to choose from.

Kim Sum – Pennsauken, NJ

With a retro warehouse feel on the inside is Kim Sum. The service was friendly and quick. Had the shrimp dumpling, roast pork bun, roast pork fried rice, scallop and shrimp with ginger with veggies, pork with ginger and scallions, and short ribs. Everything was pretty good. I would be interested to try other things on the menu if in the area again.

If you like spicy, this place probably has something you will enjoy. Even if you are not they still have plenty of other options. Everything I had here I really enjoyed and would certainly go back. My order was Pork Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, Sizzling in Black Bean Sauce Fish, Sizzling in Black Pepper Sauce Scallop, and Dry Pepper Flavor Chicken.

Lorenzo’s Cabana – Westville, NJ

You can’t get more of a down home feeling than visiting Lorenzo’s Cabana. This is truly a family run establishment with it feeling you are walking into someone’s living room. The good news is that this house serves amazing food. The tacos were fabulous. I had a carnitas, steak, and an amazing chorizo taco. The beef empanada was spot on, and the pernil with arroz con gandules was delicious. Highly recommend a visit here.

The feeling of seeing tanks full of live seafood as soon as you step inside a restaurant gives me a good feeling. You can’t get the product any fresher than pulling it out of your own aquarium. Brother Seafood Restaurant has just that. The people here went above and beyond and everything was delicious. I had their Shanghai Pork Juicy Bun, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Shrimp w. Ginger and Scallion, Beef with Black Bean Sauce, Fish Fillet with Black Pepper Sauce, , Roast Pork Lo Mein, and Roast Pork appetizer.

Pure Eats – Lexington, VA

Pure Eats is a retro, counter-serve nook doling out house-made donuts and locally sourced burgers and ice cream. It is down the block from Virginia Military Institute and just minutes from Natural Bridge State Park. I had a donuts, hot dog, fries, onion rings, burger with mushrooms, and a vanilla milkshake. All was pretty good and better than fast food locations.

They have a little bit of everything at Jaho. From breakfast, lunch, desserts, snacks, coffee, a full bar, and even Japanese-style soft serve ice cream. I gave the vanilla ice cream a try. It was very similar to custard in my opinion, but whatever you want to compare it to, I will just say it was indeed a tasty treat and the vibe here is cool.
