I recently indulged in their takeaway dinner special, and it was nothing short of amazing! The chicken parmigiana was beautifully breaded and baked to perfection, smothered in marinara and topped with gooey cheese. It came with a generous loaf of Italian bread from Sarcone’s Bakery that was perfect for mopping up every last bit of sauce, as well as pasta and a fresh salad that rounded out the meal beautifully.

But the fun didn’t stop there! I also picked up some fill-your-own mini cannoli—a delightful treat that allows you to customize your dessert. The crispy shells were filled to order, and they were simply heavenly! A sweet end to a fantastic meal.

The Van Reed Inn – Reading, PA

If you’re on the hunt for some of the best wings in town, look no further than The Van Reed Inn! This local gem is known for its impressive variety of wing flavors, and trust me, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

During my visit, I dove into the spicy garlic, Old Bay, and cracked BBQ wings. Each flavor was distinct and packed with deliciousness! The spicy garlic had just the right kick, while the Old Bay offered a unique twist that perfectly complemented the crispy wings. And the cracked BBQ? Absolute perfection—smoky and savory, it hit all the right notes!

Alongside the wings, I decided to try their BBQ offerings. I went for the brisket and pulled pork, both of which were pretty decent. Just a heads up: the side of beans is served cold, which I found a bit surprising. They’re meant to be enjoyed that way, but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer your sides hot!

Overall, The Van Reed Inn is a must-visit for wing lovers and BBQ enthusiasts alike. With so many flavors to choose from, you’ll definitely find something to satisfy your cravings. What’s your go-to wing flavor? 🍖🔥

I couldn’t resist the jerk chicken, served with perfectly cooked rice and peas, and a side of sautéed cabbage and veggies. The flavors were a delightful explosion of spices that transported me straight to the Caribbean—each bite was a little piece of paradise!

After that culinary delight, I strolled over to The Pretzel Twist for a Dutch-style soft pretzel. It was the perfect snack—crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, and just the right amount of salt. There’s something special about enjoying a classic pretzel while soaking in the market’s vibrant atmosphere.

This dish features a perfect blend of Hawaiian teriyaki sauce with vibrant bell peppers, zucchini, squash, onions, and succulent pineapples, all beautifully sprinkled with sesame seeds and fragrant cilantro. It’s a feast for both the eyes and the palate, served over a bed of fluffy rice and topped with Honey Chicken. The chicken was a standout—delicately coated, kissed by the flames, and drizzled with the chef’s artisanal honey elixir. Crowned with scallions and more sesame seeds, this dish was an explosion of flavor that transported me straight to the islands.

Massimo’s Pizza & Trattoria – Garnet Valley, PA

After savoring that delicious meal, I couldn’t resist stopping by Massimo’s Pizza & Trattoria for a classic treat. I enjoyed two plain slices of their pizza, and let me tell you, they were divine! This family-friendly spot offers a great selection of pizza and Italian dishes, making it the perfect place to grab a quick bite or enjoy a meal with loved ones.

Booth’s Corner Farmers Market is truly a culinary paradise. With its vibrant atmosphere, rich history, and delectable food options, it’s a fantastic destination for food lovers and families alike. I can’t wait to return and explore more of what this wonderful market has to offer!
