Nothing beats getting a good meal that is affordable and quickly accessible as well. I’m not a fan of ‘fast food’, but you could consider this fast food. You walk in, see what is available, and it’s yours as soon as it is scooped into your dish. Not only was the food served fast, the service was amazing as the woman behind the counter was friendly as could be, and the food was down right tasty and filling. I had their rice combo with pork adobo and pork menudo and a pork empanada that was fantastic. You should really try this place out if you have never been there.

This place is a South Jersey hidden gem. As soon as I stepped inside the woman at the counter yelled, “I know this is your first time here isn’t it” and that was correct. She continued with demanding I take a free passion fruit drink she prepared right then and there. Not only was the drink great, the meal was amazing. From the jerk chicken, plantains, rice, and cabbage everything was cooked perfectly and tasty as could be. It was very affordable as well for the amount of food provided. If you love Jamaican food or happen to be in the area you should give them a try for sure.

This dining destination is not only a place to get a great meal, it’s a place to see and be seen. The atmosphere brings the best out of everyone from dress, what to drive, and where to sit. This is what I imagine this stretch of highway being like nightly in the 70’s with Cherry Hill’s famed Latin Casino, Racetrack, and many other draws that brought world class entertainment, parties and celebrities.
Had a great time, service was superb, and the food was delicious with every bite. Had amazing bread and tomato pie, Zucchini Fritti dusted with parmigiano reggiano, Antipasto Rustico with imported italian meats & cheeses, olives, marinated vegetables, bruschetta, Chicken Maximo with tomato, mushrooms, sherry wine, asparagus, mozzarella, vegetables, potatoes, and a fabulous creme brulee and cheescake to finish the meal. Everything was great and I highly recommend a visit.

Smack dab in the middle of the heart of Haddonfield shopping district is The Fare Porter. I had their The Triple B burger with Onion Straws, Bacon, BBQ Sauce, Cheddar Cheese, order of fries, and vanilla milkshake. I really had fun here during my visit. To start the fries are great and I love the variety of dipping sauces you get to choose from and they have Boylan Bottling Company soda on TAP. Then they have a large amount of burger types and bun choices to build the burger you want. I went with a burger they already have set that was spotlighted on Tik Tok’s travelingtastebuds account that has close to 2 million views called The T.T.B.B – The Traveling TasteBuds Burger. It is Kobe beef, brioche bun, bacon, caramelized onions, onion strings, cherry bbq sauce, cooper and aged gouda cheese. It is a beast of a meal and I really enjoyed.

The Jersey Shore summer season may be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy beautiful beaches. Just slightly over an hour flight from Philadelphia International Airport is Bermuda Tourism. Everything there is covered! From watersports, snorkling, gorgeous beach with turquoise clear water for miles, mini ocean water park, beautiful views, immaculate grounds, cozy and modern rooms, tennis courts, very cool spa in a cave, another cave to swim in, fantastic amenities, unlimited use of public bus transportation, close to Blue Hole – moped rentals – electric bike delivery, top of the line service and hospitality, and best of all an ALL-inclusive plan with delicious high end restaurant quality meal and beverage plan. You can’t go wrong here and it’s less than a 2 hour plane ride from Philadelphia International Airport. If you’ve never been you should consider checking them out. This cheesesteak was packed with very finely chopped meat and a good amount of cheese. Their motto is ‘Our main goal is to offer our customers THE BEST BANG FOR THEIR BUCK.’ They are certainly doing that as the price point is decent for the amount of meat you get and the roll stood up quite well. This is a neighborhood deli that goes above and beyond in providing friendly service. The menu has a good variety offering a little bit of everything. It’s a good choice if you’re in the mood for a cheesesteak and around this area.

They have a nice cheesesteak here with a quality order of fries. I had cheesesteak with fried onions and American Cheese. I do enjoy somewhere that has good fries. Nothing ruins a meal more than a bad batch of fries, cooked wrong, or those cheap double breaded type of fries. The cheesesteak wasn’t fatty or too greasy, and better than your average pizza joint. If you’re in the area they are a decent choice if in the mood for a cheesesteak.
