The service here it top notch. They couldn’t be friendlier and the prices are very reasonable and bagels nice and fresh. I had bacon, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel with a side of pancakes. It was a wonderful breakfast and right across the street from the Absecon Lighthouse which made it a perfect spot to stop.

With an amazing view right at the marina giving you a cool breeze to enjoy your meal while there this is a great spot to dine. The pancakes were great and I can see why so many people rave about how this place has the best around. The bacon was nice and crizpy, scrambled eggs cooked perfect, and the potatoes were delicious. Highly recommend a visit here when in the area.

I really enjoyed dining here. Such lovely people and the prices reasonable. The food was really good too, except for the fried wontons which were WAY too over fried. Everything else was perfect which was peking dumpling, chicken with broccoli, and Mongolian style with bell pepper, cabbage, zucchini, carrot with scallops that was delicious.

In the downtown area is Red Ginger Dimsum & Tapas from Chef Ben Chen and Kevin Jiang. The downtown has some neat places to shop and visit. The meal here I had roast pork with home made honey soy, Pork Dumpling Shanghai Style which were pretty good, Chicken Yakitori, and Curry Soft Shell Crab. The soft shell crab with blue crab meat, onion, red curry, coconut milk, fish sauce and chicken broth that was just out of this world. This dish alone is worth the trip here. A must order when visiting.

If you aren’t looking for Pal Joey’s or know where they are you sure as heck will never find them. Pal Joey’s his hidden deep in an old strip mall far away from the main street. The search for them is well worth it though with OUTSTANDING South Philly style sandwiches. I had their CHICKEN ITALIANO which is Chicken Cutlet, Prosciutto, Provolone Cheese, topped with Long Hots. It was AWESOME and I will be stopping by again as they are right off the Route 55 exit making it easy to grab something on your way to the Jersey Shore destinations via 55.

Very close to Bellevue State Park making a great pickup location as the park has many picnic areas is Adam’s Rib. Sadly I deleted the photo I had of the food by accident. What I can tell you though is that the service here is amazing. The owner is a top notch gentleman and he couldn’t have been more of a joy to talk to and the difficulties of the being the the hospitality business. I had a full rack of ribs with an order of fries and a 2 piece meat combo with 1/4 chicken leg and smoked wings with green beans and collard greens. I enjoyed the ribs and the wings as they had a nice flavor and meat was tender. Only note would be that the 1/4 chicken was a tad overcooked and I could have went with a few more fries in the side order. Could have just been a misstep, but either way I would still say a nice place to check out if in the area and great picnic food for the park.

One of the greatest American delights is a nice grilled cheese. Well let me tell you that Uncle John’s BBQ has an amazing take on it with their 3 cheese pulled pork grilled cheese. I had it mixed with mild and hot pulled pork and I couldn’t have been a tastier treat. Also had the grilled hot dog and both were turned into a combo with french fries that were lightly seasoned which was a nice twist.

The Reading Terminal Market makes Philadelphians spoiled for these types of markets, but Easton has something to be proud of. More Than Q is one of the vendors to choose from and the food was decent. I had the half rack of ribs, collard greens, fries that were really good, and beans with burnt ends and these beans were some of the best I’ve had in quite some time. I could eat bowls and bowls of the beans they are that good.
