Looking for a TRUE Farm-Table Experience? Well look no further as we are thrilled to welcome Chef Robert Marzinsky and Christina Albert the farm manager Beach Plum Farm Dinner Series. The meal items are literally harvested onsite and served that very day from the earth to the plate. It’s a different story when it’s actually, literally farm-table. From corn to tomatoes and more, the farms of Southern NJ are among America’s cream of the crop and Beach Plum farm is a 62 acre sustainably worked farm. On the farm site, nestled in an Amish-style barn in West Cape May, NJ, Beach Plum’s Farm Kitchen serves family-style dinners very close to downtown Visit Cape May MAC. These multi-course dinners place special focus on the freshly harvested crops springing up on Beach Plum’s fields and greenhouses, as well as their sustainably raised eggs and meats. Executive Chef Rob Marzinsky’s menu offers ever-changing options based on what’s fresh in the fields that morning. The meal is served in the heated onsite Hoop House during cooler months or in case of inclement weather, or, weather permitting, outdoors in an upscale picnic setting.

Then we are excited to talk to award winning pitmaster and author, BBQ Buddha founder Ray Sheehan. He has a new cookbook ‘Big Green Egg Basics from a Master Barbecuer’ published by Page Street Publishing Co.. This book has everything you ever wanted to know about using your grill to its fullest potential, including how to use a ceramic grill, the best grilling techniques, detailed guides on equipment and maintenance, plus―most importantly―how to make the showstopping, smoky barbecue you’ve been waiting to grill up. Whether you’re an aspiring grillmaster or just crave your own homemade barbecue staples, this book will give you a host of delicious, memorable barbecue favorites to whip up for any occasion. You’ll love making these recipes for game nights, backyard parties or even just weeknight dinner. With this collection, you’ll be ready to make anything and everything and be part of the Big Green Egg BBQers.

Last, but certainly not least we have Lokal Artisan Foods Group founded by Charisse McGill of famed French Toast Bites popups at Cherry Street Pier – Spruce Street Harbor Park – Made In America, French Toast Beer collab with Yards Brewing Co., French Toast Bites Gelato collab with Cloud Cups, LLC, French Toast Bites Coffee collab with Bean2Bean Coffee Co, and many more delicious creations. We’ll chat about all things French Toast and what they have planned for the future.

The #1 listed “Food Radio show Philadelphia”, Small Bites on Wildfire Radio returns for their last show of 2018 and we are in the holiday spirit.

The show will begin with a holiday song from country music icon Martina McBride who has sold over 14 million albums and has released a new holiday album called “It’s The Holiday Season” from Broken Bow Records. She will then join us on air to talk about her new cookbook “Martina’s Kitchen Mix: My Recipe Playlist for Real Life” from Oxmoor House Books Time Inc. Books. In this gorgeously photographed cookbook, readers will find more than 100 simple and satisfying recipes filled with fresh, seasonal ingredients and down-home flavor. Martina encourages cooking “outside the lines” and shows you how to make cooking fun with creative “ad-lib” tips for recipe riffs you might consider.

Then keeping us jolly in Philadelphia we are thrilled to welcome Tobias Fischer of German American Marketing, Inc. and he is the PR & Social Media Manager for Christmas Village in Philadelphia and Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market. To join him is Charisse McGill, Owner/Producer of Lokal Artisan Foods Group, LLC who is debuting at Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market with her French Toast Bites stand. Through Christmas Eve, Christmas Village will transform LOVE Park for the month into an authentic open-air German Christmas market, with holiday sights and sounds featuring thousands of twinkling lights, festive Christmas decorations, live music, children’s activities, and photos with Santa presented by ACME Markets. Shoppers will find high-quality international and local gifts along with beautiful decorations and are invited to warm up with a glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate while enjoying the great variety of European food and drinks. Admission is free as always, with food, drink and shopping pay as you go. Spread the cheer by following @philachristmas on Instagram and Twitter, liking Christmas Village in Philadelphia on Facebook and visiting http://www.philachristmas.com/. Across the street at Dilworth Park until Tuesday, January 1, 2019 Christmas Village in Philadelphia presented by Bank of America will be accompanied by the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market sponsored by B101 Philly MORE FM. More than 50 local artisans, designers, crafters and confectionaries will offer unique selections for gifts and special holiday foods in white, festively lit tents topped with original Herrnhuter Sterne Stars. In contrast to the authentic German Christmas Village with international vendors, the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market offers a wide variety of arts and crafts from local vendors from the greater Philadelphia area. With such a wide selection, visitors will be sure to find the perfect gift for their loved ones and themselves, like fashionable jewelry and clothes, unique decoration items and so much more. At the same time, a wide choice of locally-made sweets and foods will be available for visitors’ enjoyment, as well as the beautiful Wintergarden presented by TD Bank with an extended seating area, the ice skating at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute Ice Rink and the Rothman Cabin, all conveniently located in Dilworth Park. Admission is free, so come by and enjoy the vibrant holiday atmosphere and shop local to find unique gifts for your family and friends!
