Paleteria La Tapatia is one of those places that’s all about simple, refreshing desserts done right. It has a casual, colorful, and welcoming feel where the focus is clearly on classic Mexican-style frozen treats and sweet snacks rather than anything overly complicated.
The standout order here was the fresas con crema, which came layered and generous:

The combination works really well because it hits multiple textures at once as the strawberries bring freshness and a slight tartness, the cream adds richness and sweetness, the granola gives it a light crunch, and the coconut ties everything together with a subtle tropical note.
