🌳☀️ Nothing beats a day at Green Lakes State Park!

Took a little trip out to Green Lakes State Park in Onondaga County, NY and it was the perfect combo of nature and good eats. The views around the lake are absolutely stunning — crystal-clear water, peaceful trails, and plenty of space to relax or explore. 🥾🌿💧

After a walk and some fresh air, we stopped by the park’s concession stand and grabbed the classics:
🌭 A hot dog
🍕 A slice of pizza
🍟 And crispy fries that hit the spot

Simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want after a day outside!

Whether you’re hiking, swimming, or just soaking up the sun, Green Lakes has it all — plus a snack shack to fuel your fun. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Stargate Diner – Seaford, DE

Seaford, DE, is a charming town. Visited Stargate Diner, where I indulged in their delightful chicken parmigiana paired with a hearty side of pasta. The Maryland crab soup had good flavor and packed with fcrab. The friendly service made the meal even more enjoyable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices.

Afterwards, I couldn’t resist stopping by Seaford Smash N Dash Burgery for a sweet treat. Their milkshakes are the perfect snack to round off the day—thick, creamy, and oh-so-satisfying! Whether you’re passing through or planning a longer stay, Seaford has some tasty surprises waiting for you!

Had an amazing time exploring the Delaware Water Gap area, with some incredible food stops along the way! 🌄🍴

Humpty Junior’s – Columbia, NJ

First up, Humpty Junior’s in Columbia, NJ – this retro burger joint has a classic ’50s vibe. I indulged in a delicious cheeseburger, hot dog, and some fresh-cut fries. Simple, but so good! 🍔🌭🍟

Hot Dog Johnny’s – Belvidere, NJ

Next, I made my way to Hot Dog Johnny’s in Belvidere, NJ, a legendary roadside stand that’s been around for over 80 years. Enjoyed some amazing hot dogs with a frosty glass of buttermilk and birch beer while soaking in the nostalgic vibe. Don’t miss this classic stop! 🌭🍺

Thai Thani – Stroudsburg, PA

For a taste of Thailand, I stopped by Thai Thani in Stroudsburg, PA. This casual eatery did not disappoint – from the Steamed Fresh Prince Edward Island Mussels with lemongrass, basil, and kaffir lime leaves, to the Pad Ce Aew stir-fry and Thai Thani Fried Rice with pineapple and curry spices – each dish was packed with flavor and so satisfying! 🥢🍚

Sycamore Grille Restaurant & Pub – Delaware Water Gap, PA

Then, I had a hearty meal at Sycamore Grille Restaurant & Pub in Delaware Water Gap, PA. This family-run gem serves up seafood, steaks, and pub fare in a relaxed atmosphere with live music. The special crispy chicken with stuffing, mashed potatoes, steamed clams, and calamari was a comforting, delicious spread! 🍗🦪🎶

Shawnee General Store – Shawnee on Delaware, PA

Finally, I grabbed a tasty breakfast sandwich with pork roll, egg, and cheese on a kaiser roll, plus pancakes at Shawnee General Store in Shawnee on Delaware, PA. It was the perfect way to start the day! 🍳🥞

This local shop offers an impressive variety of flavors, from classic water ice to creamy gelati blends and rich soft-serve options. I tried a mix of cherry and blue rasberry water ice, and it was incredibly refreshing, smooth, and bursting with flavor. The prices were super reasonable, especially for the generous portions, and the overall vibe of the place was fun and welcoming. If you’re in the area and looking for a sweet, affordable way to cool off, Primo is a must-visit.

Stopped by Champs Cheesesteaks And Hoagies in Audubon, NJ, and had a great meal! 🍴 Went for the cheesesteak on a seeded roll with a side of crinkle-cut fries. The cheesesteak was solid—definitely above average, with plenty of flavor and a satisfying bite. The fries were crispy and the perfect complement to the sandwich.
