Fiesta Bistro Filipino – Cherry Hill, NJ

Nothing beats getting a good meal that is affordable and quickly accessible as well. I’m not a fan of ‘fast food’, but you could consider this fast food. You walk in, see what is available, and it’s yours as soon as it is scooped into your dish. Not only was the food served fast, the service was amazing as the woman behind the counter was friendly as could be, and the food was down right tasty and filling. I had their rice combo with pork adobo and pork menudo and a pork empanada that was fantastic. You should really try this place out if you have never been there.

La Cocina Latin Cuisine – Pennsauken, NJ

The meal deals can’t be beat here with the amount of food they serve for the price. The best part though is that the food is wonderful as well. I had the pernil combo and it was simply divine. The pork was cooked perfectly with nice crispy parts, soft and juicy tidbits, and flavorful nice parts of fat at times. I added a fresh passion fruit drink. Everything is right there ready to be served so no wait for the food. Loved my experience here and when around the area will certainly return.

This place is a South Jersey hidden gem. As soon as I stepped inside the woman at the counter yelled, “I know this is your first time here isn’t it” and that was correct. She continued with demanding I take a free passion fruit drink she prepared right then and there. Not only was the drink great, the meal was amazing. From the jerk chicken, plantains, rice, and cabbage everything was cooked perfectly and tasty as could be. It was very affordable as well for the amount of food provided. If you love Jamaican food or happen to be in the area you should give them a try for sure.

Caffe Aldo Lamberti – Cherry Hill, NJ

This dining destination is not only a place to get a great meal, it’s a place to see and be seen. The atmosphere brings the best out of everyone from dress, what to drive, and where to sit. This is what I imagine this stretch of highway being like nightly in the 70’s with Cherry Hill’s famed Latin Casino, Racetrack, and many other draws that brought world class entertainment, parties and celebrities.

Had a great time, service was superb, and the food was delicious with every bite. Had amazing bread and tomato pie, Zucchini Fritti dusted with parmigiano reggiano, Antipasto Rustico with imported italian meats & cheeses, olives, marinated vegetables, bruschetta, Chicken Maximo with tomato, mushrooms, sherry wine, asparagus, mozzarella, vegetables, potatoes, and a fabulous creme brulee and cheescake to finish the meal. Everything was great and I highly recommend a visit.

Smack dab in the middle of the heart of Haddonfield shopping district is The Fare Porter. I had their The Triple B burger with Onion Straws, Bacon, BBQ Sauce, Cheddar Cheese, order of fries, and vanilla milkshake. The serving size is large and you won’t go hungry after eating here that is for sure. Have you been here? What do you like when you visit?

I really had fun here during my visit. To start the fries are great and I love the variety of dipping sauces you get to choose from and they have Boylan Bottling Company soda on TAP. Then they have a large amount of burger types and bun choices to build the burger you want. I went with a burger they already have set that was spotlighted on Tik Tok’s travelingtastebuds account that has close to 2 million views called The T.T.B.B – The Traveling TasteBuds Burger. It is Kobe beef, brioche bun, bacon, caramelized onions, onion strings, cherry bbq sauce, cooper and aged gouda cheese. It is a beast of a meal and I really enjoyed.

This cheesesteak was packed with very finely chopped meat and a good amount of cheese. Their motto is ‘Our main goal is to offer our customers THE BEST BANG FOR THEIR BUCK.’ They are certainly doing that as the price point is decent for the amount of meat you get and the roll stood up quite well. This is a neighborhood deli that goes above and beyond in providing friendly service. The menu has a good variety offering a little bit of everything. It’s a good choice if you’re in the mood for a cheesesteak and around this area.

This is one of those locations that you may have driven by 1,000 times and never stopped. Well let you tell you that is probably a mistake. Instead of this destination that looks just like a regular corner store is a place putting out quality and tasty food with decent portions sizes at great prices and friendly service. I had their old bay fries with cheese and cheesesteak with fried onions. Both were delicious and I will certainly try other things on their menu next time around the area.

There is no if and or but about it here. The cheesesteak is delicious! I will not entertain the best ever or rank them, that’s for social media pages and other websites. What I can tell you is if you are around the area and in the mood for a cheesesteak this is without a doubt a fantastic place to go. The burger was really great also. If they had fresh cut french fries I would have went wild, but they still serve a solid fry here. The service was top notch as well. They deserve all the hype they receive. The roll held everything together, meat was tender, onions were cooked perfectly, and cheese was overflowing. It was exactly what I was looking for that day.

Green Tea Restaurant – Swedesboro, NJ

This is a cozy destination with a VERY large menu offering quite a few varieties of Asian cuisine. I went with Chef John’s Special Mongolian Triple Style, Chicken with broccoli, fried rice, steamed pork dumplings, and an egg roll. Everything was a tad better than average and for sure better than the corner store take-out Chinese variety. Be aware though the fried rice I was served was a little bit different in texture and flavor than my preference tasting similar to the instant rice from a pouch and next time I would probably just go with the white rice. This place may be a good bet for those looking to have a little something of everything so that whoever you come with can find a dish they may want.
