Big Hoss Beef Jerky – Williamstown, NJ

Let me start off by saying that the name Big Hoss Beef Jerky is a huge disservice to this business. Of course they offer at least 14 different varieties of all natural jerky made fresh right on their premise that you see being crafted right in front of your eyes when you enter. That’s a given with a name like they have. What was a huge surprise to me was everything else they offer.
They sell Stock’s Famous Pound Cakes, Czerw’s Kielbasa, an all-day breakfast menu, a sandwich menu using Liscio’s Bakery rolls that rivals any sandwich shop around them, and they even offer catering.
On my visit I really enjoyed their original beef jerky, jalapeno habanero jerky, chicken parmigiana sandwich, philly cheesesteak with fried onions, and homemade pulled pork sandwich. The quality of each product was astonishing for a destination that one wouldn’t even think about as a sandwich shop. Every item was flavorful and really delicious with a price point that is extremely affordable no matter what you get. Really can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend a visit for jerky fans and grab any of their other delicacies.
In closing, maybe Big Hoss Philly Style Sandwiches and Jerky would be a more appropriate name. I can’t be the only person who thought they only sold jerky. The only other important aspect that everyone should be aware of is that they are only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with very limited hours. So now that you know all of this you really should give them a visit for the many different things they offer. How can you go wrong with anything they offer? I know I was happy with my visit.
