The big game is here this week and what is the big food to enjoy? Wings of course. You don’t want just regular or sub-standard wings for your viewing party. You want something that will wow the crowd. Well that’s where The Jug Handle Inn comes in. Not only can you get delicious wings, you can get awesome sandwiches as well. I enjoyed everything about The Jug Handle Inn. From the ease of ordering online, to the friendly service when picking up, to how great the food was this place is the real deal. The wings were great and I had the Tony Bruno Sauce (honey Bbq and Medium Garlic) on them which was so yummy, but the big surprise came from how much I enjoyed the Hot Roast Beef with their own ‘jug made’ top sirloin served with au jus and horseradish on a kaiser roll with homemade chips. As it says on their menu it was indeed AWESOME! The au jus was just a delight. So if you want to score a touchdown this Sunday, be sure to order some wings and a roast beef sandwich from here.

SmallBitesRadio was named #14 out of Top 30 Best Hospitality Shows on the planet for 2020.

The wings here couldn’t be more delicious. They are a MUST eat in South Jersey. Lai Thai Wings with garlic and house chili basil sauce and topped with cashew nut was quite the surprise in a good way. The other things I had were also good and tasty, but the wings won the crown. I also had Shrimp Pad Kee Mao, Beef Pad See-Ew, and Pork Thai Fried Rice.

I have to say that my entire meal here was pretty good. From the she crab bisque, steamer clams, smoked peach wood wings (which were the highlight of the meal and AWESOME, I would come here just for a few beers and wings), and the half rack of ribs with fries and coleslaw. The place was packed to gills with patrons and the service was still fast, attentive, and personable, with a price point that was reasonable. A nice spot to dine really in the middle of nowhere as it comes up quickly to spot in the pitch dark.

With a neighborhood watering spot feel and atmosphere it is easy to feel at home here, but where Local  Bar and Kitchen really shines is their wings. Man these wings were delicious. I had the hot and honey wings which were just phenomenal and the Garlic Parm wings that were some the best around. Highly recommend dining or getting a take-out order of wings from Local if in or around the area. I also had their version of Classic Cheeseburger with old bay fries. It did the job of filling me up, but next time I’m just sticking with the wings and trying a few other flavors of wings they have.

O’Donnell’s Restaurant & Bar – Gloucester City, NJ

Shown above are fall off the bone buffalo wings, pork sliders, cheesesteak egg rolls, beef shepards pie, and short rib sandwich with long hots. Everything was better than average. Fyi, they stated the menu is changing very soon so these may or may not be available when you visit. The wings were the highlight of the visit.
