“Don’t it always seem to go, you don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone.” That wonderful lyric, from a classic Joni Mitchell song from the 1960s, is especially timely now. Even though they’ve won tons of awards, are critically acclaimed, and loved by many this location will be closing at the end of the month. The motto of Pizza Crime is ‘Tastes so good it should be illegal’. I guess you could say they’ve been arrested and ordered the close shop. They are serving 12″ wood fired pizza with a nice selection of different varieties. It’s a tiny little place so more than likely it would take-out, but they do have a few tables if you choose to dine in. The go to pizza hands down their #1 Pepper-Jawni Pizza with hot honey. It was fantastic! The PROSCIUTTO 3.14 didn’t disappoint either with fresh mozzarella, fontina, arugula, and thin shaved prosciutto with that nice saltiness in each bite. We also had the MARGHERITA which was certainly better than average. The #1 Pepper-Jawni Pizza with hot honey has gotten a lot of press and awards and for good reason. If you’ve never been you should give it a try especially since their days are numbered.
