DAVID & SONS 322 BBQ – Mullica Hill, NJ

DAVID & SONS 322 BBQ – Mullica Hill, NJ

This place is truly a BBQ gem in South Jersey. By far the best overall meal of BBQ I’ve had in quite some time in South Jersey. The service was top notch, prices reasonable, and the menu is extremely varied compared to a traditional BBQ restaurant. If you are in the area, I highly recommend them. While there I had the Boyland Shirley Temple which went down smooth, triple smoked candied bacon that was AWESOME, bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, truffled cauliflower gratin, grilled asparagus, and a full rack of ribs. Just a warning though, the parking lot is extremely tiny and not easy to back out of if all spots are full.

Smoke BBQ – Audubon, NJ

Smoke BBQ – Audubon, NJ

Enjoying a nice piece of smoked and seasoned meat is heavenly. Thankfully, Philadelphia has grown quite a bit with destinations to enjoy some good BBQ. Across the bridge in Southern Jersey, it seems the trend is continuing. Smoke BBQ is not exactly new to the neighborhood, but still young enough to be considered a newbie. Well, they are doing a good job in a well decorated restaurant space in the tiny town of Audubon, NJ. The have brought a fine dining sort of feel to the place, yet it is relaxed and enjoyable with classic rock posters adorning the walls and friendly service throughout with decent price points for the meal. I had dry rubbed smoked wings,1\3 rack of ribs with cornbread, and a side of brussel sprouts that really were delicious. They are certainly worthy of a visit.
