The service here makes you feel like you are enjoying breakfast at a friends house. They go above and beyond to make you welcome and you can tell it’s a family operation. The bacon, egg, and cheese onion bagel was fantastic and spot on. The bagel is a little fluffier than most places, but still really good.

Nothing is better than being able to order fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast in my opinion. It is a great treat. Well not only can you get a fresh squeezed OJ here, but their bagels are fabulous and delicious here. I had bacon, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel. Really somewhere to try if around the area.

Whether you are in the mood to have a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd breakfast Deli Stop Foodmarket is a great choice. They have converted a former old-school style Wawa convenience store into a hot food/deli destination with a micro-market/lotto/smoke shop. It isn’t fancy, but for a little over $4 what you do get is a sandwich overflowing, portion generous, and delicious. I had the scrapple which they flashed deep fried, egg and cheese on a toasted and grilled bagel. The service was over the top friendly and the day I stopped by there was a constant flow of patrons ordering food to go.

Looking for a TRUE Farm-Table Experience? Well look no further as we are thrilled to welcome Chef Robert Marzinsky and Christina Albert the farm manager Beach Plum Farm Dinner Series. The meal items are literally harvested onsite and served that very day from the earth to the plate. It’s a different story when it’s actually, literally farm-table. From corn to tomatoes and more, the farms of Southern NJ are among America’s cream of the crop and Beach Plum farm is a 62 acre sustainably worked farm. On the farm site, nestled in an Amish-style barn in West Cape May, NJ, Beach Plum’s Farm Kitchen serves family-style dinners very close to downtown Visit Cape May MAC. These multi-course dinners place special focus on the freshly harvested crops springing up on Beach Plum’s fields and greenhouses, as well as their sustainably raised eggs and meats. Executive Chef Rob Marzinsky’s menu offers ever-changing options based on what’s fresh in the fields that morning. The meal is served in the heated onsite Hoop House during cooler months or in case of inclement weather, or, weather permitting, outdoors in an upscale picnic setting.

What a treat this place is. I had their famous hot roast beef sandwich on the Rando Bakery “Atlantic City Roll” with sharp provolone and an order of boardwalk fries. Everything was great! This meal will not be for everyone, but I enjoyed every part of it. Different than what anyone around them is offering and unique. They provide a HUGE serving of roast beef and fries so you won’t go hungry after eating here for sure.

Really enjoyed the vibe here and the food most importantly was really good. The Hen wings were crispy on the outside, yet juicy and meaty with great flavor. The Mi bo kho Braised beef stew with egg noodles, cubed shank, flank, tendon and carrots was spot on delicious. The prices were very reasonable as well. Great spot to try for yourself.

What a fun place to find when driving down Laurel Rd. The service was amazing and the chocolate and blue raspberry gelati hit the spot. If you’re in the area they are a great place to treat yourself.

Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill and Steakhouse – Woodbury, NJ

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. That’s the old saying and it holds true at Charlie Brown’s. A few updates here and there, but the standards are what you remember and the food is the same and great as it ever was. Very affordable prices for what you receive. The Queen cut prime rib was very meaty and tender, French Onion soup hit the spot, green beans crisp, and the sauteed mushrooms and onions were plentiful. The only minus is my distaste for those breaded french fries. No respectable place should serve them in my opinion. Other than that I think if you were a fan of the old Charlie Brown’s you also enjoy the new and improved Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill and Steakhouse.
