Gianna Simone, the host of the healthy plant-based living Amazon Prime Video/YouTube series “Love, Gianna,” and just released her vegan cookbook “Plant Love” with best friend & actress Andrea Logan and both of them will be joining us. In Amazon’s “Love, Gianna,” Actress Gianna Simone explores the many benefits of Veganism. In the highly anticipated new season premiering this month, Gianna interviews world-renowned doctors, sports stars, experts, and more in the field of plant-based nutrition. Chef Rene Johnson of Blackberry Soul, a pioneer of healthier and vegan southern-style soul food has decided to chat with us as well. From Vice President Kamala Harris and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to author and activist Dr. Cornel West, actor Danny Glover, Congresswoman Barbara Lee and California Governor Gavin Newsom; Chef Rene Johnson’s signature healthy southern-inspired comfort foods have fed guests at countless exclusive soirees from Washington to Hollywood. On a mission to make southern-inspired soul food favorites more heart healthy, Rene took her grandmother’s amazing recipes, removing much of the harmful fats and pork, and she began whipping up healthier versions of old-style favorites, leading to her 20 year reign as the most in-demand soul food chef for A-list soirees.

Sharon Shvarzman, the owner of an Israeli restaurant in Philly, keshetkitchen, and winner on Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race with Tyler Florence will be with us also. Sharon Shvarzman’s story of struggle to then becoming an Executive Chef as an Israeli man is a compelling one. He is excited to bring his cooking to the city of Philadelphia. A contestant on Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America, who then became a proud winner of the Great Food Truck Race, Executive Chef Sharon Shvarzman’s passion for cooking has brought him to this moment of opening his own restaurant in March 2021.

You can’t have a good meal without great produce and some people may not be aware of all the great products from Pennsylvania farmers.
