Tony Luke’s Old Philly Style Sandwiches – 39 E Oregon Ave Philadelphia, PA

Yep that’s right, a cheesesteak wit wiz and fried onions. Yummy 🙂

Celebre’s Pizzeria – Philadelphia, PA

Situated near the stadiums, this is a perfect spot to grab a nice bit to eat dining in or take out for tailgating parties. Pictured is the Spimato Pizza, a white pizza with spinach and plum tomatoes and seasoning. It was really good!
Myrtle Beach Eats 2019
Vietnam House Restaurant – Myrtle Beach, SC
Informal Pan-Asian eatery doling out familiar Chinese & Vietnamese eats in unadorned surrounds. Everything was tasty and service was friendly. I had the fresh spring rolls and shrimp fried rice noodles.
Maggi D’s – Myrtle Beach, SC

This is a homey eatery serving straightforward Italian dishes. The bread makes a good sandwich, and their bread is good. I had the Frank “The Bodyguard” which is fried chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, roasted red pepper, and balsamic reduction.
Johnny Rockets – Myrtle Beach, SC

Sitting in the heart of the tourist entertainment complex Broadway at the Beach is Johnny Rockets. Service was fast and prices reasonable. I enjoyed an original double burger with a side of fries.
Amigos Mexican Asian Fusion Food – Wenonah, NJ
This is a TINY place. Most of the orders here are take-out, but you can dine-in. They are off the beaten path, and you have to keep your eyes open to not miss them. Below is what I had: chicken empanada that was fantastic and their version of chicken dinner teriyaki mixing Asian with Mexican. It’s an interesting concept.
Country House Restaurant – Thorofare, NJ
Pictured is Boston Clam Chowder, Turkey Croquettes on top of mashed potatoes with gravy, and fried zucchini. Decent Jersey Diner fare with very friendly service at a good price.
Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant – 1150 Market St, Philadelphia, PA

The Fashion District of Philadelphia as it is being re-branded is really taking off and looking nice after years of decline. I had the South Philly Maserati Burger here and the burger was juicy and cooked well. Nice beer selection, and service was quick with decent prices for Center City Philadelphia.
Nifty Fifty’s – Turnersville, NJ
What a fun and delicious destination this place is. The food was really good for what they are serving, and with an arcade and mini-golf available as well, it makes it so much more than just a meal here. It truly turns into an experience. I had the single Royal Burger with BBQ sauce, Texas Tommy with chili, and a side order of fries. When in the area, will certainly go back again.
Sakana Oriental – Woodbury, NJ
A repurposed Jersey Diner has a Chinese/Japanese restaurant sitting inside of it. It is slightly dated, but the personalized service was outstanding making me feel right at home even though it was my first time there. Not too many surprises on the menu, but they are reasonably priced especially for their lunch special which I ordered from, and the food was better than average. If in the area, I would go back for sure. Pictured is wonton soup and entree of pork with broccoli with pork fried rice.
Frozen Rolled Ice Cream – 938 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA

I have to say I have had rolled ice cream quite a few times, but this one really hit the spot. I don’t know if it’s just because I really enjoyed my visit to Philadelphia’s Chinatown that day, but it seemed better than usual. I had the strawberry Cheesecake, ice cream, strawberries, strawberry syrup, whipped cream.
